摘要

Fuel cells have been attracted much attention as alternative source of electricity. The principle of fuel cells is based on electrical energy being generated with electrochemical formation of water from hydrogen and oxygen. Hydrogen molecules are catalytically ionized to protons at the anode, which migrate in the form of hydronium ions (H_3O~+) through a proton-conducting electrolyte to the cathode.
