摘要

The hydrosilylation reaction involves the addition of an Si-H bond across a π bond. Although this process usually involves a C-C double bond, the hydrosilylation of C-O double bonds is also known. Free-radical hydrosilylation reactions have been reported, but these reactions are more frequently achieved using transition metal catalysts. Ru catalyzed hydrosilylation copolymerization of aromatic diketones and α,ω-dihydrido-oligodimethylsiloxanes permits synthesis of high molecular weight poly(silyl ether)s. Poly(silyl ether)s were recently produced by Pd-catalyzed copolymerization of dihydridosilanes and p-quinones.
