摘要

Poly(ether ether ketone) (PEEK) is a high performance engineering plastics and a promising scientific and industrial material with important structure applications which was developed by ICI company in 1977. It has excellent properties, such as high chemical resistance, good mechanical properties, excellent thermal stability and ease processibility. It is a semicrystalline polymer with a crystal melting temperature(T_m) around 334 centigrade and a glass transition temperature(T_g) around 143 centigrade, and its maximum crystalline degree is 48% and general crystalline degree is in the range of 20%~30%. The crystal structure of PEEK has been studied by P.C. Dawson and D.R.Rueda, they suggested that PEEK crystallized in an orthorhombic lattice and reported that the cell parameter was a = 7.75A, b = 5.86A, c = 10.00A.
