摘要

Owing to the great importance of poly (vinyl chloride), improvement of its heat stability is always the target of many investigators. The degradation occurs by a dehydrochlorination reaction, initiated at the labile sites present at the polymeric chains. To overcome this unstability, additives such as metallic soaps or organic compounds had been used as stabilizers. The chemical modification of the polymer was also used for the improvement of the heat stability.
