Castings Technology International (Cti) has developed an advanced casting technology said to be capable of producing large one-off and low run net shape castings. Building on the Replicast process that uses moulds built up on precision-machined polystyrene patterns, MEGAshell technology enables exceptionally large ceramic shell moulds to be produced of a size and weight greater than conventional casting practice can feasibly achieve.’
