The same revolution in digital compression and bandwidth expansion that made it possible to buy and download music over the Internet is slowly but steadily changing the way we get movies into our homes. Online movie stores such as CinemaNow, Movielink, Apple iTunes and Amazon Unbox now offer videos for purchase and rental at costs that rival those of DVDs (see "Movie Download Sites," next page). Most of us, however, don't want to view movies on our 17-in. computer monitors; we want to watch them on our 37-in. televisions. Getting video from PC to TV isn't as easy as it should be, but it can be done. Here's how.
