New HGP range for producers

A new range of hormone growth promotants which contain combinations of naturally occurring hormone ingredients, and which require no withholding period from treatment to slaughter became available to beef producers from September 1st. Launched under the PROGRO brand, the first two products - PROGRO S for steers and PROGRO H for heifers -can be expected to increase growth rates by up to 20% and improve feed utilisation by about 8% when used on healthy animals with good feed.
