Petrobras eyes petchem complex on the brazil-bolivia border

State oil company Petrobras (Rio de Janeiro) is planning to build a us1.3-billion gas and petrochemical complex on the Brazil-Bolivian border,local reports say.The project would be built at the border towns of Corumba,Brazil and Puerto Suarez,Bolivia,and include a 600,000 m.t./year ethylene cracker and 600,000 m.t./year polyethylene unit for startup in 2009-10.
