Testing the Rodinia hypothesis: Records in its building blocks

“Did Rodinia ever exist?” is still a question in many geoscientists’minds. This Special Issue focuses on recent data and ideas relating to the Precambrian supercontinent Rodinia, and presents the first Geodynamic Map of Rodinia (Appendix I in Li et al., this issue)—a final product of the UNESCO/IUGSsponsored IGCP-project 440 “Rodinia Assembly and Breakup”.
