Department of Defense Fuel Cell System Programs

摘要

The objective of the Department of Defense Fuel Cell Programs are to develop fuel cell power systems which hold the promise of reduced fuel consumption at full and partial loads,lower emissions,smaller intake and exhaust ducting,and reduced thermal and acoustic signatures than conventional prime movers,especially for electric ships.The DoD fuel cell technology goals include providing maximum warfighter payoff,which includes increased mission endurance,stealth and reliability;meeting the unique operational needs of each service,and compatibility with fuel logistics.
