BENZENE HYDROGENATION ACTIVITY OF NOVEL FIXED-BED RANEY NICKEL CATALYST

摘要

Benzene hydrogenation conditions were investigated for the novel fixed-bed Raney nickel catalyst bonding by pseudoboehmite including reaction temperature,pressure,space velocity,molar ratios of hydrogen and benzene.Then,200h continuous hydrogenation tests were carried out at appropriate reaction conditions.The experimental results indicated that benzene can be hydrogenated to cyclohexane completely at mild conditions of reaction temperature 80-120 deg C,hydrogen pressure 0.5-lMPa and space velocity 2.0h~(-1).The main reasons of the catalyst deactivation included adsorption poisoning of sulfur and chlorine as well as agglomeration of highly dispersed nickel particles according to XRD and EDX analysis results.
