摘要

The removal of sulfur components from hydrocarbon fuel streams is necessary for efficient operation of fuel reforming catalysts and also to protect the anode of the fuel cell.Divalent copper [Cu(II)]- exchanged zeolite Y has been reported to be effective in removing odorant molecules from natural gas (1).Monovalent copper [Cu(I)]- exchanged zeolite Y has been shown to be effective in removing thiophenic-type sulfur species from a variety of liquid hydrocarbons fuels (2).
