摘要

Petroleum sreams are comprised of hydrocarbons and heteroatom containing species.The hydrocarbon constituents,that are typically paraffinic,naphthenic,and aromatic,vary significantly based upon the stream type and its source.For example,about 98% ofthe molecules in base stocks are hydrocarbons in nature,whereas petroleum-resids may contain only 50% or even lesser hydrocarbons.
