HYDRODESULFURIZATION OF GASOLINE OVER Pd-Pt CATALYSTS

Recently,the activities of sulfur tolerant noble metal catalysts in the hydrodesulfurization have been reported [1~3].Especially,Pd-Pt bimetallic catalysts showed excellent hydrodesulfurization (HDS)and hydrogenation (HYD)activity as well as high stability in the hydrodesulfurization of light gas oil (LGO)[2,3].The activities of HDS and HYD of the noble metal catalysts usually depend on the properties of supports and additives.In this work,we prepared Pd-Pt bimetallic catalysts supported on USY zeolite and titania [4],and investigated the catalytic performance of the these catalysts in the hydrotreating of model and real feedstock of gasoline.
