Development of highly active como catalyst for hydrotreating of diesel fractions

Recently,a global trend toward stricter quality regulation value for diesel fuels has emerged to improve atmospheric environment.In particular,sulfur reduction in diesel fuels is strongly required because sulfur may affect the durability of after-treatment devices excepted to provide effective control of diesel emissions.The development of highly active HDS catalysts has been one of the most urgent issues in petroleum industry.A new CoMo HDS catalyst was developed with citric acid and phosphorus for hydrotreating of diesel fractions.We reported about the performance and characterization of the developed highly active CoMo catalyst.
