Producing qualified paving asphalts from a paraffinic crude by optimizing chemical compositions

The great development of China's western inland has created a giant need for paving asphalts,especially for high-way purpose,the production of which is highly dependent of the nature of source petroleum crude.However,most crudes produced in China are paraffinic,making them unfit for paving asphalt manufacture in view of Chemical compositions.Thus there is a large gap between need and supply.
