摘要

The discovery by Haruta [1]and his associates that suitably prepared gold catalysts have much higher activity for the oxidation of CO than the noble metals of Groups 8-10 has stimulated extensive work in this subject.High gold concentration catalyst could be very relevant for small reactors.However,in the literature there is very little information about this subject [2].Therefore,this study reports the results related to preparation procedures,role of water,pretreatments and stability of high gold concentration catalysts supported on ZnO.
