Today, air pollution is serious environmental problem. A major source of air pollution all around the world is the exhaust gas from hundreds of millions of motor vehicles. Regulations have been enacted to reduce harmful motor vehicle emissions through more restrictive fuel standards. Fuels containing organic sulfur compounds produce sulfur oxide which is the largest contributor to NO_x emissions from fuel combustion~([1]). On the other hand, sulfur compounds in the fuel are poisonous to catalyst filling the automobile converter. To settle these environmental problems, the sulfur content in the fuel has been, and will continue to be reduced to a lower level, such as less than 100 or even 50 ppm.
