The objective of thsi study was to establish the solution mehod of GHRPS the synthetic oligopeptides Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Met-NH_2 Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Met-OH Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Leu-NH_2 Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Leu-OH Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Gly-NH_2 and Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Gly-OH to verify their effect on osteoporosis male ICR mice (20+-2g) were ysed The sugcutaneous imjection dose of 18mug/kg synthetic peptide was not effective to prevent the decrease of body and femur weight of the animals The subcutaneous injection dose of 6.3mg/gk prednisone elicited a decrease in content of femur calcium and in the level of serum calium of the animals The subcutaneous injectin dose of 18 mug/kg Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Leu-NH_2 or Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Leu-OH or Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Gly -NH_2 significantly increased the content offemur calicium dn cecreased the level of serum calcium of the animals It was also observed thast the subcutaneous injectin dose of 18mug/kg Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Gly-OH Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Leu-OH tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Met-OH Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Met-NH_2 significantly increased the content of femur phosphorous snd decreased the activity of ALP of the animals.
