Protein folding is the last step of the central dogma of molecular biology,which involves the transfer of genetic information from one-dimensional sequences of amino acids to three-dimensional structures.In the 1960s,Anfinsen and co-workers demonstrated that proteins could fold spontaneously from the unfolded state to the native state.
