THE makers of atrazine are busy preparing to defend the foundation corn herbicide in a class-action lawsuit in Madison County. Holiday Shores Water Sanitary District has filed suit against six atrazine manufacturers: Syngenta, Dow, Drexel, Makhteshim-Agan, Sipcam and UAP. Growmark, a local distributor, is also named as a co-defendant.
