Sun Paper testing 300,000 tonne/yr uncoated printing and writing paper machine in China

China's Shandong Sun Paper Industry is testing a new 300,000 tonne/yr uncoated printing and writing (P&W) PM at its flagship mill in Yanzhou city, Shandong province. The first sheet of paper rolled off the line on September 16 (No. 23, p.5). The unit, supplied by Voith, is dubbed PM 29. It has a trim width of 7.33 m and a design speed of 1,600 m/min.
