Belarusian pulp and board mills funded by Chinese state firms reschedule startups to 2017

Two pulp and paper projects being funded and built by Chinese government-owned firms in Belarus have hit delays, apparently due to permit issues. The Svetlogorsk Pulp and Cardboard Mill has reportedly pushed back the startup of the 400,000 tonne/yr pulp line at a greenfield mill in Svetlogorsk, Belarus, from mid-year to next year, according to sister publication PPI Europe.
