Korea’s Jeonju Paper to curtail thousands of tonnes of newsprint production next month

Leading South Korean newsprint producer Jeonju Paper has announced eight days of downtime next month at its two mills in a bid to deal with poor domestic and export demand and with dwindling profitability. All its paper machines will be shut from September 5 to September 12, curtailing output by a projected 25,000 tonnes.
