APP China starts up a new 200,000 tonne/yr BCTMP line at Qinzhou P&P facility in Guangxi

APP China has started up a 200,000 tonne/yr bleached chemi-thermome-chanical pulp (BCTMP) line at its pulp and paper mill in Qinzhou city, Guangxi province, China. The semi-chemical pulp line, supplied by Valmet, came on stream last month, producing hardwood BCTMP grades. An APP China contact indicated that the pulp line is capable of churning out up to 250,000 tonnes/yr.
