APP China taking downtime on 1 million tonne/yr Ningbo cartonboard PM; other machines down

APP China has suspended produc- tion on a 1 million tonne/yr carton- board PM at a mill in Ningbo city, Zhejiang province, planning ten days of downtime. PM 4 went offline on April 23 for maintenance. The machine, which mainly pro- duces coated ivory board, started up last year. It has a width of 7.3 m and a design speed of 1,200 m/min.
