High court refuses review of remanded federal multidistrict case

The U.S. supreme court refused Nov. 27 to review a ruling by asbestos plaintiffs who sought to have their cases remanded from the federal multidistrict litigation because the coordinated and consolidated proceedings contemplated by the MDL statute have ceased.
