the success of stable,long-term filtration of hot gases depends upon both the conditions under which the sust to be removed has been deposited on the filter surface adn on the cleaning action applied.in general,detachment of the dust cake during pulse cleaning will occur when the applied pressure overcomes not only the filtration pressure attained during the filtration cycle,but also the adhesion force of the cake onto the filter surface and/or the cake cohesive force to a residual dust layer on the filter surface.
