Insight into the characteristics of bulk solids means that the outlay for trials during the planning and design phase for storage and conveying systems can be kept to an absolute minimum.Today there are a number of sophisticated techniques for reliable determination of these characteristics.Their use in a bulk solids laboratory are described in this article.
