50 years of Endress+Hauser

Fifty years ago, on February 1, 1953 the Swiss engineer Georg H. Endress and the German banker Ludwin Hauser founded the L. Hauser KG inLorrach. A few years later it was renamed Endress+Hauser GmbH. The company started its activities with the sale of an innovative electronic (capacitive) level sensor imported from England. Today it would probably be called a "garage business" even though teh first compan premises was a converted bedroom.
