PRITI Plastics Pvt Ltd has tied up with the UK-based Symphony Environmental Ltd to market the latter's d2w,a biodegradable additive for the manufacture of plastic.Mr Haresh Dugad,Chief Executive Officer,Priti Plastics,said the plastic produced using d2w degrades much faster compared to conventional plastics that may take up to 400 years to degrade."When added in the normal manufacturing process,it causes plastics to break down totally into water,carbon dioxide and a small amount of bio-mass," he added.
