AIPMA representation to Ministry of Environment on proposed ban on Plastic bags

IN its representation to Dr.B N Patil,Ministry of Environment the AIPMA president has submitted as under.1.Realization of value from Polybags waste in India The realization value depends on quality of waste that is collected.The dirtiest thin commingled waste can fetch Rs.6 to Rs.8 per kg.while at collection centers that the industry has demonstrated in 8 to 10 different places all over Mumbai it ranges from Rs.12 to Rs.20 per kg.
