This month sees three RSC journals focus on key research areas: Molecular BioSystems, Issue 10 Hagan Bayley's special issue on 'Understanding and Manipulating Channels and Pores'. The investigation of channels and pores is a delightfully varied field requiring a wide range of knowledge and experimental tools taken from a multiplicity of scientific disciplines.
