Plastics Industry unhappy with special duty

P.Chidambaram,the finance mister seems to have failed to impress upon the plastics industry even after announcing a cut in customs duty for this sector.The industry said that the proposal to impose 4 per cent special additional duty (SAD) on bulk plastics and raw materials would nullify the reduction in customs duty.
