THIS article first talks about Asia and its recent developments as far as they are relevant to the Western world.Then it will go into the prospects for nonwoven producers in this part of the world,whereby the conclusions are,hopefully,equally valid for international producers coming to Asla as for the local producers.My observations are those of a Westerner with direct experience in the region.Before discussing the nonwovens business,however,I would like to discuss the region.
