DSM appoints Corporate Vice President DSM China

DSM has appointed Mr Stefan Sommer (46) as its Corporate Vice President DSM China.In this newly created post,Mr Sommer will report directly to DSM Deputy Chairman Jan Zuidam,who is responsible for China within DSM's Managing Board of Directors.With effect from 1 April 2004,Stefan Sommer will also take over the Chinese duties of Ari van der Steenhoven,director of DSM Corporate and Sales Offices in China,who is due to retire.Mr Sommer will be based in Shanghai.
