DSM to invest in plastics from carbon dioxide venture

DSM has announced that it has made investments in Novomer (Ithaca,New York),a materials technology start-up,which is developing a technology platform for producing performance polymers,plastics and other chemicals from carbon dioxide and renewable materials.The technology is based on the use of a proprietary catalyst system.
