Arkema introduces high-flow PVDF resin Kynar 705

ARKEMA has recently developed Kynar 705 resin, a new, high-flow PVDF homopolymer grade, for use in standard commercial spinning equipment to produce ultra-resistant textile products for water and chemical filtration applications. Kynar 705 fibers have a 25 percent higher tenacity than other fluoropolymer fibers. Kynar 705 resin was designed to meet the low viscosity requirements of multifilament extrusion while providing high tenacity, low overall gel content, and resistance to abrasion and aggressive chemical environments - even at high temperature.
