New farrowing shed completed at historic Glengallan Piggery

On July 6 2012 Andrew Reilly, Principal of the Reilly Pastoral Company Pry Ltd and Judy Collins, Office Manager at the Warwick Queensland Glengallan piggery, cut the tape on their new farrowing shed, recently completed by Stockyard Industries from Clifton, Queensland. A sizeable crowd of Glenngallan staff past and present, suppliers, contractors, and locals enjoyed the winter sunshine, refreshments and a tour of the magnificent state of the art 185m x 22m Betco prefabricated shed, part of a long planned growth strategy for the Glengallan enterprise. Two key players in the new farrowing shed initiative, Marcus Jones, Director of Sales for Stockyard Industries and Paul Colenso, Regional Manager Qld, were absent, Marcus being overseas and Paul recovering from a back injury operation.
