Most don't see the need, and consider the "repeat" stage a simple attempt to sell more shampoo. Food safety isn't like that. The industry increasingly recognizes the need for a systems approach to pathogen reduction, involving every participant, with repeated interventions beginning at the farm and continuing with packers, processors, retailers, restaurateurs and finally, consumers.
