Brittany is the leading region for agricultural production in France and for the performance efficiency of its agro-industry sector. In 1994, some 68,000 farms produced a total value worth 37.2 billion francs of horticultural and agricultural products (13-2% of the total value of the'Farm France'). But poultry exporters are worried about the GATT reforms.
