Baalbaki announced that it has commenced construction of its new 40,000 t/y aromatic and aliphatic polyester polyols and prepolymer production plants on its existing 30,000 m~2 industrial site at Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The new plants are expected to be operational by the end of 2012 and will supply the developing markets in the Gulf Coordination Coucil (GCC), India, Pakistan, and Iran with PU systems, polyols, and laminating adhesives for flexible food backaging.
