Ukrplastic to build a new plant to serve the European market

It is reported that leading Ukrainian flexible packaging converter Ukrplastic is to open a new production facility probably within the next twelve to eighteen months. The company has reported that land for the site has already been purchased, along with the necessary production equipment. While the company has so far declined to say where the new plant is to be located, it is rumored that it will not be in Ukraine, but elsewhere in Eastern Europe, possibly in Latvia's capital, Riga. The new plant will focus on supplying the European market.
