Turkey veterinary experts meet to discuss avian influenza and other diseases

Unsurprisingly, the latest situation on avian influenza around the world was the main theme of this year's International Symposium on Turkey Diseases in Berlin. Other topics received good coverage too, including enteric and respiratory diseases as well as blackhead, the infection so particularly troublesome in turkeys. The 6th International Symposium on Turkey Diseases was once against hosted by the Free University of Berlin and ably organised by Professor Hafez and his team. The conference attracted almost 200 participants from 28 countries.
