Amcor announces Indonesian flexible packaging acquisition

Australia's Amcor Ltd. has recently agreed to acquire Indonesian flexible packaging converter PT Bella Prima Packaging for A$27 million. Established in 1981 as Poly Print Pack, Jakarta-based Bella Prima had sales of around A$30 million in 2013. The company has two plants in Jakarta focusing on the production of shrink sleeves, BOPP wraparound and roll stock labels, BOPET/LDPE lidding materials and flexible packaging. Production facilities include ten gravure presses, two laminators, three film coextruders, two cast film extruders and a metalliser.
