Nestle to invest ?8 million in expansion at Turkish plant

Growing demand for bouillon products in Saudi Arabia has prompted Swiss food giant, Nestle to invest ?8 million in an extension to its Karacabey plant in Turkey. The investment, which has created an additional 100 jobs at the factory, will use the latest technology in its production lines to produce 1,200 packages per minute of Maggi bouillon products especially for the Saudi Arabian market a minute, generating a total of 7,300 tons of bouillon annually from 2014.
