From Chinaplas 2014 in Shanghai

The 28th edition of Asia's largest and world's second largest plastics and rubber show Chinaplas closed its doors on 26 April in Shanghai, setting a number of new records. The show attracted a total of 130,370 visitors which means a growth of 14.26% compared to Chinaplas 2013 in Guangzhou. It also sets a new record since its debut in 1983. With the exhibition becoming increasingly international, the number of overseas visitors grew by 19.73% up to 36,841 which accounts for 28.26 % of total visitors. These international visitors came from 143 countries and regions, mainly from Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Russia, etc. The number of domestic visitors maintains a strong figure of 93,529 with an increment of 12.24 %.
