BOPP film prices up in Saudi Arabia during Q2 2012

Prices paid for 20 micron plain co-extruded BOPP film in Saudi Arabia increased by up to 18% during Q2, 2012 to US$2.40 – US$2.50 / kg due to higher resin costs. One domestic film supplier has already announced a price reduction of 8% to take effect in June. The expectation is that prices should reach similar levels to Q1 2012 by July of around US$2.10 / kg.
