Atlas to provide new slitter for OPP Films SA's new 6.2m wide CPP film line

OPP Films SA of Peru has ordered a CW964 primary film slitter from UK based supplier Atlas Converting Equipment Ltd. The slitter will be dedicated to the company's new 6.2m wide Bruckner CPP film line due to come on stream in August 2012 with capacity of 20,000 tpa and will be one of the two widest CPP film lines operating worldwide and the first in the Americas, at this width. OPP Films already has a 4.8m wide Bruckner 15,000 tpa capacity CPP film line.
