Hershey's Q4 profit rises 7% on strong sales

Hershey Foods is North America's largest chocolate producer. With 42.5% of the US chocolate market, Hershey sells products in 50 countries under 60 brand names including, Hershey's, Reese's, and Kisses. The company's reported net income of $135.5 million for the three months that ended December 2010, $126.8 million up from a year earlier. For all of 2010, Hershey reported revenue of $5.67 billion, up 7% from 2009. Net income rose 17% to $509.8 million, from $436 million.
